ASTM A455 Heat Treatment:
Conditions A - 1900 (1038 C) for 30 minutes and cool below 60 F (16 ℃) for a complete martensite transformation. CONDITION H 950 - Treat Condition 1 hour, air cool material in 900 F (482 C) .. condition H925, H1025, H1075, H1100, H1150 soak 4 hours solution treated material at a specific temperature, air cool, CONDITION H1150M, soak solution treated material at 1400 ℉ (760 C), 2 hours, air cool, then re-heat to 1150 F for 4 hours and air cooling (620 C).
ASTM A455 Welding performance:
Successful common fusion and resistance welding method, this should not be added to alloy oxyacetylene welding. If necessary, I suggest AWS E/ER630 filler metal.
