ASTM A 537CL2 mainly used in construction, such as boiler and pressure vessel steel, power plants, boilers, for the manufacture of reactors, heat exchangers, separators, tank, oil tank and so on.
ASTM A 537CL2 Heat treated using the quenched and tempered method, the material has higher residual tensile and yield strength when compared to pressure vessel grades produced under the ASME SA516 standard. ASME SA537 Class 2 is used extensively by the oil, gas and petrochemical industry.
