Local Alro Steel Corporation production employees to vote on de unionizing

The Business Journal reported that Local Alro Steel Corporation production employees will vote on January 10th 2013 on whether or not they want to de - unionize according to National Labor Relations Board documents.

Mr Irv Gottschalk NLRB regional director in Milwaukee said that “An employee at the company’s local facility 3000 N 114th Mr St Wauwatosa filed a petition December 7th 2012 seeking to vote the union out. The 34 full and part - time production employees are currently represented by United Steelworkers AFL CIO CLC Local 9040 4.”

According to the petition the employees current collective bargaining contract expires in November 2013.
